Finished embroidery: more doll’s house embroidery – this time, by a Norwegian customer of mine

Many of my customers come from outside the UK. Today, a Norwegian customer called Golin contacted me (there should be an oblique line through the ‘o’ of Golin, but I can’t get my keyboard to do that!).

Here are the pictures she sent me of her doll’s house, with examples of miniature embroidery that she has made, from kits bought from my website www.janetgranger.co.uk

The kitchen in Golin’s doll’s house

In the kitchen, there is a ‘Summer Roses’ teacosy, stitched on 32 count silk gauze, on the table.

The hallway in Golin’s doll’s house

A ‘Marie’ carpet, stitched with Appleton’s crewel wool on 18 count canvas, is featured in the hallway.

The study in Golin’s doll’s house

The large Aubusson carpet in the study is called ‘Judith’

The landing area in Golin’s doll’s house

The wallhanging called ‘Chevron’ co-ordinates beautifully with the wallpaper on the landing of the doll’s house.

The left hand wall in the dining room of Golin’s doll’s house

Five Christmas stockings grace the fireplace in the dining room. They are each stitched on 40 count silk gauze with Rayon silk thread, and measure just an inch and a half high.

The right hand wall in the dining room of Golin’s doll’s house

On the wall opposite the fireplace, there is a ‘Judith’ bellpull, stitched on 32 count silk gauze.

All of these designs are available as kits from my website, and there are tutorials to show you how to complete each item, here.
